New Clerical Officer competition

PublicJobs will be launching a new Clerical Officer recruitment competition in April 2025. Applications are invited from individuals who are fluent or who have a good working proficiency in the Irish language, and the ability to carry out duties through the Irish language at a B2 proficiency rating on the Europass Self-Assessment Framework.

As a Clerical Officer, successful applicants will work as part of a team in a government department or public body, helping to deliver important public services.

These are full time positions, with a starting salary of €30,690 which increases incrementally each year in line with public service pay policy. The positions offer an annual leave entitlement of 22 days and there are opportunities for training, development and career progression in the area of working with the Irish language. Dependent on which department or public body successful applicants are assigned to work in, positions may also offer flexible and blended working opportunities.
